This episode’s AWESOME things:

  • Heather loves 826 Valencia, founded by Nínive Calegari and Dave Eggers. It’s a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced students ages six to eighteen with their creative and expository writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. It’s a great place to donate to!

  • Sarah’s awesome thing was going to the airport to pick up Heather for the first time in two years — and give her a BIG hug. Sarah LOVES airports and watching people as they return home to the ones they love. Here’s a little video of a singing flash mob who welcomed passengers back to Heathrow (how can you not tear up??!)
